I can not believe summer is over, and next week I will return to early mornings. As I look back I hope we have made some good memories. We have been to the beach, the pool, sleepovers and play-dates. We have spent long days together as a family, waking up late, and eating dinner outside. It is tragic that summer ever has to end, but the joys of being together are really just beginning.
My youngest daughter, L, starts preschool next week. She’s one of the youngest, but she’s ready to have her own space. J, my oldest son, starts soccer practice next week, and you will not find a more excited 5 year old. J’s official start to home school will not start until September, so I am hoping to get a few more days of swimming in with just the two of us.

I am so thankful that you have decided to stop by The Sierra Home Companion. Please share what you have loved the most about your summer vacation, and what your looking forward to.

sigh…I am NOT ready for summer to be done, and because it’s still +30 at least every day it’s not seeming over for me yet!!!
Here from NFF, happy weekend!
Jenn,
I should have said summer vacation is almost over, because around here September is always hot. Thank you for stopping by.
